The faculty is a secondary school that integrates film, television, cultural creativity and new media technology as the core. There are 5 undergraduate majors, including Journalism, Broadcasting and Hosting Art, Drama-film and Television Literature, Radio and Television Editing, Network and New media, Among above, the major of Broadcasting and Hosting Art and Network and New Media are the first-class majors. At present, there are nearly 3,000 students in the school, and the college has a strong faculty. The proportion of teachers with senior professional titles has reached more than half of the total number of teachers, and the proportion of teachers with double qualifications has reached more than 60%.

In recent years, the school has implemented the mission of “Applied, Localized, and Internationalized” in running schools, with the goal of cultivating qualified talents to meet the needs of the market, integrating the real business of the enterprise into the classroom, implementing project-based curriculum tasks, working project tasks, and systemic work tasks. Besides these, the school established many off-campus professional internship bases such as Kuang Shi Voice, Chao Xi Technology, Yong Xing Co., Shaanxi Media Network, Xi’an Business Network, Shaanxi Broadcasting and Television Station, Shaanxi Daily, etc., aiming at expanding students’ professional practice vision through the integration of school-enterprise production and education. At the same time, the school cooperates with the New York Film College jointly to cultivate postgraduate education.
