Recently, the result of the 4th "Reading China” classic recitation contest in Shaanxi province is revealed. The final of the contest is sponsored by Shaanxi Provincial Education Department, Provincial Language Committee Office, the People's Education Press and Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. Teachers and students from Xi’an Peihua University won the first prize 2 items, third prize 1 item, excellence award 1 item after fierce competition. Teacher Hei Mengqi was awarded a prize of excellent teachers, and Xi 'an Peihua University was awarded the outstanding organizational Unit.
In the college students group, Liu Mingjie won the first prize with his work "Western Chu King Sword"; Liu Yuyu and Li Hangxi won the third prize with their work "Jia Wu". Cui Shibo and Wang Jiajing won the excellent award for their work "The Voice That Never Dies". The tutor of the provincial-level first prize winning work -- Hei Mengqi from the School of Communication won the Excellent Tutor Award. Among the teacher group, Shang Yong, Ju Meng, Jia Dengyin, Hei Mengqi, Zhang Yusheng and Ren Qiuxuan from the Broadcasting and hosting Art Department won the first prize with their work "The Voice of China". Xi 'an Peihua University won the Excellent Organization of the competition.
In this year's competition, two groups consisting of teachers and students from Xi’an Peihua University won the first prize, and both entered the national competition stage.
The purpose of this competition is to improve the language ability and cultural literacy of college students in the new era, to create a good social atmosphere of loving Chinese classics, to build a spiritual home shared by the Chinese nation, and to promote the inheritance and innovation of Chinese classical culture by the broad social groups. The teachers and students of Xi’an Peihua University responded to the call of the competition actively, carried forward the traditional Chinese culture and inherited the Chinese spirit, and presented excellent works to the 20th CPC National Congress.
